Signature International Services, third-party logistics startup, recently facilitated a seamless, time-sensitive, multi-continent, high-value air charter for a leading Department of Defense prime contractor.

Signature International Services provided the contractor with a variety of cost-effective and security-sensitive options encompassing all facets of a highly visible project enabling the customer to make informed and cost-effective decisions. Signature successfully managed the loading, transport and delivery of support equipment from a U.S. Air Force Base to a military installation in Germany. The arrangement included securing transport by an L-100 Hercules with two jump-seat DOD contractors, tendering 40 tons of heavy air cargo, and coordinating heavy equipment at the pickup and delivery locations.

“This project, was a huge win for Signature International and for the customer,” said Chris Rush, former CEO of Signature International Services. “We could not have pulled off a project of this size and scope had it not been for the help and perseverance of our logistic partners from companies in both the U.S. and in Europe.”

Signature International Services, headquartered in Grapevine, TX, is a global third-party logistics company specializing in project cargo, air charters and government contractor support.
